33 Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing and Bad Trees with Bad Fruit

Matthew 7:15-20
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.
A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

1.  Know the Word of God:
Regular study and memorization of Scripture will equip believers to discern error.

2.  Test Every Spirit:
Evaluate teachings and practices against Scripture:
“But test everything; hold fast what is good.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:21.

3.  Stay Rooted in a Faithful Church:
A biblically sound church with elders who teach the whole counsel of God provides protection.
“Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock… I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you.” – Acts 20:28-30
