24 Prayer is About Reigning

Matthew 6 v 9 – 13

9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. 10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread, 12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. (ESV)

To pray ‘Thy kingdom come’, comes from a desire to see all people subjected under God. It is to pray for God’s reign – for His royal power – for the sudden and absolute rule of God to come upon the earth.

This petition is:

    Is. 9:6-7, Dan. 2:34, Luke 1:32-33, Mat. 25:31, Rev 11:15.

  2. Personal
Praying for Him to reign in your own life and relationships.

If you want the kingdom of God to come, you must tell people about the King of the kingdom.
What are we doing as church and individuals to see that God’s kingdom come?
