Habakkuk 1 v 1-4

What we will learn from Habakkuk:

1. His Plight (chapter 1)
2. His Patience (chapter 2)
3. His Peace (chapter 3)

Two main points (chapter 1 v 1-4):

1. The Prophet’s Covenant Relationship with God, our Creator and Redeemer.
2. The Prophet’s Cry for Righteousness:
   • His Desperation – how long must I cry for help? (verse 2)
   • Perplexing Destruction among the Lord’s people. (verse 3)
   • His Distress because the Law is paralyzed, justice goes forth perverted and the wicked prospers. (verse 4)
